Creative engineering education is a requirement of today
On October 10, 2014, within the framework of the TEMPUS ICo-op project «Industrial cooperation and creative engineering education based on distance engineering and virtual tools», a meeting of students of the Department of Software Tools with representatives of «Procom» LLC ( http://procom.zpua/ ) took place. The Head of the Certified Training Center of «Procom» LLC Stolyarchuk Iryna Arkadiyevna spoke about current areas of cooperation between the company and Ukrainian universities (PDF, 4.6 MB).
The students learned about opportunities for training, internships, certification, and employment, as experts in the «1C:Enterprise» platform are in demand on the labor market today, not only in Ukraine but also abroad.
A year ago, the the first visit of representatives of «Procom» LLC to ZNTU took place. Today we can already summarize the following main results of cooperation:
- a cooperation agreement was concluded between ZNTU (Department of Software and Department of Personnel Management and Labor Economics) and LLC «Procom» ( http://procom.zp.ua/ );
- In November 2013, a pilot group of six students from the Department of Software Tools attended the certified course «Introduction to Configuration in the »1C:Enterprise« System. Main Objects. Version 8.2» at the Certified Training Center of LLC «Prokom». Students received the corresponding Certificates;
- In January 2014, our students underwent an internship at the Certified Training Center, after which they successfully passed the certification exam for knowledge of the basic mechanisms of the «1C:Enterprise 8.2» platform. and received the corresponding Certificates «1C:Specialist»;
- in May 2016, students of the Department of Software Maryna Tsisaruk, Mariia Spiridonova, Liudmyla Medvedeva successfully defended their bachelor’s theses on a real topic proposed by specialists of LLC «Prokom» on the platform «1C:Enterprise»;
- a graduate of the department, Yaroslav Zalyubovsky, successfully found a job thanks to the additional knowledge he received and the Certificate «1C:Specialist» and today works as a 1C programmer at Klion Group;
- diploma theses by Maryna Tsisaruk «Automation of the project manager’s workplace in the applied solution «1C: Document Management 8 for Ukraine»» and Mariia Spiridonova "Service mechanisms for automating the work of a tour sales manager on the "1C:Enterprise 8" platform" are presented for participation in the annual International Competition of diploma projects using "1C" software products.
Today, in addition to a higher education diploma, employers increasingly require other confirmation of the competencies of university graduates: additional certificates, as well as practical experience – participation in real projects, competitions, etc. Therefore, taking into account the needs of today, thanks to the cooperation of ZNTU – «Prokom», we provide students with the opportunity to receive such additional creative education.
At the same time, according to the TEMPUS ICo-op project plan, university teachers have developed courses for advanced training of representatives of industrial enterprises and companies of Zaporizhzhia:
- Control systems for electrical machines and devices (PhD, Assoc. Prof. M.O. Polyakov);
- Technologies and systems of virtual and remote engineering (PhD, Assoc. Prof. A.V. Parkhomenko);
- Quality of information systems (PhD, Assoc. Prof. G.V. Tabunshchyk);
- HR management of an innovative enterprise (PhD, Assoc. Prof. A.V. Sokolov).
Pilot training for industry representatives is planned to be carried out at the beginning of next year through the ZNTU Business School, on the page of which more detailed information about training opportunities and obtaining the relevant Certificates will be presented.
