IV All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Internet Conference «Sports and Physical Education in Higher Education Institutions. Present and Future»

On March 6, the IV All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Internet Conference «Sports and Physical Education in Higher Education Institutions. Present and Future» dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the university was held on the online platform of the Department of Physical Culture, Olympic and Non-Olympic Sports of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University. The scientific event brought together specialists from 14 higher education institutions from different regions of our country, more than 40 specialists and scientists in the field of physical culture and sports.

The conference participants were welcomed by the rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University Viktor Greshta, the dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Management Svitlana Kokareva, professor of the State Tax University Larysa Hunina, professor of the Ukrainian State University named after M. Dragomanov Serhiy Putrov Yuriyovych, professor of the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynskyi Valentyna Todorova Georgievna, Professor of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Svitlana Atamanyuk, Deputy Director of the State Scientific Institution «Institute for Modernization of Educational Content» Galyna Kolomoyets, Head Coach of the Ukrainian National Beach Soccer Team Mykola Kostenko.

Interesting reports and fruitful discussions created a solid foundation for further research, finding ways to solve problematic issues in physical education and sports in higher education institutions!
