IT volunteers of Zaporizhzhia: 18 million hryvnias to help the defenders of the Zaporizhzhia region and Ukraine

Students and graduates of IT specialties and employees of the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University from the first days of the full-scale invasion in 2022 joined the volunteer initiative «IT volunteers of Zaporizhzhia», organized by the Freshcode training center to help the defenders of the Zaporizhzhia region and Ukraine, as well as civilians who suffered as a result of the war.

Together with caring citizens, representatives of the IT sector and other businesses of the city of Zaporizhzhia, and also involving representatives of business communities from other states and regions of Ukraine, «IT volunteers of Zaporizhzhia» collected over 18 million hryvnias earned by 855 donors who were directed to help Ukrainian military and civilians affected by Russian aggression.

The assistance provided made it possible to purchase and repair vehicles, purchase generators, charging stations, fuel and electronics, including tablets and smartphones, manufacture brackets for dugouts, purchase components and assemble FPV drones, manufacture sleeping bags and purchase protective ammunition and trench tools, purchase medicines, hygiene products and food products, and organize logistics processes.

Students, graduates and employees of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University massively joined the initiative «IT Volunteers of Zaporizhzhia». Thank you for your solidarity and help!
