Dear graduate!
After graduating from the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, you had the opportunity to get a higher education in your chosen specialty. At the moment, you are faced with a not simple question: «Where to go to work?»
Everything is not as complicated as it seems at first glance.
The first thing you need to do is WRITE A RESUME, a document that you will need in any case, regardless of whether you have already found a job or are just starting your search. If you have difficulties and questions in writing a resume, you can turn to the Center for Employment Assistance for Students and Graduates of ZNTU for help. In order to write a resume, analyze the experience you gained during your studies and the places where you did your internship, which you can include in your resume as work experience, which is a very important point. After writing a resume, you can easily proceed directly to JOB SEARCH. Your dean’s office, the department where you studied, the Center for Employment Assistance for Students and Graduates of ZNTU can help you with this, where you will receive qualified assistance from the Center’s specialists.
But above all, the first assistant in the job search process is yourself. First of all, you need to try to declare yourself, try to interest employers in your person. How to do it? First, spend some time looking for work on the Internet, in the press, through television, friends and relatives. Secondly, you simply need to spend time sending your resume to companies and organizations that are interested in hiring a specialist of your profile.
If the work performed did not give the desired result, you can contact the Center for Employment Assistance for Students and Graduates of ZNTU, where specialists will try to help you. You can also take a look at the official website of the university, section «Field of activity» – «Employment», where you will find current vacancies for today.
If you took care of looking for a job in advance and you have your first job, you need to submit a certificate from the place of work to the dean’s office of your faculty (profiling department), after which you will be issued a JOB REFERRAL at the meeting of the committee on the distribution of graduate students of your faculty. At the bottom of this document is the JOB REFERRAL NOTICE, which is submitted in its completed form to the Center for Assistance to the Employment of Students and Graduates of ZNTU.
