II International Scientific and Practical Conference «Revival of Ukraine and its Regions in the Context of Global Trends: Management, Administration and Support»
On the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the Faculty of Economics and Management, the II International Scientific and Practical Conference «Revival of Ukraine and its Regions in the Context of Global Trends: Management, Administration and Support» was held on May 23-24.
The conference was attended by more than 73 educational and scientific institutions from 5 countries of the world and 18 cities of Ukraine. There were 300 participants in total, including 60 students. The wide geography, specifics of the activities and practical experience of the participants allowed us to comprehensively cover current problems of the present and proposed a number of solutions.
The conference was held in a mixed format. At the opening of the conference, the following delivered welcoming remarks: Vice-Rectors Andriy Ivanchenko and Valerii Naumyk, Dean of the Faculty of Economics Vladyslav Korolkov, Director of the Ukrainian Association for Management and Business Education Liudmyla Gorokhova, Editor-in-Chief of the All-Ukrainian Newspaper «All About Accounting» Zoya Slobodyanyuk.
On the first day, at the plenary session, 10 reports were presented.
The second day of the conference was devoted to panel discussions in sections:
- Section 1. Key Aspects of Post-War Development: Economic, Political, Socio-Cultural and International Context.
- Section 2. Financial and Economic Security in the System of Restoration of Ukraine and Its Regions in the Context of Global Trends.
- Section 3. Accounting, Audit and Taxation in the Context of Restoration of Ukraine in the Context of Globalization economy.
- Section 4. Management and administration in wartime and post-war economic recovery of Ukraine and its regions.
- Section 5. Marketing and logistics in the context of global trends.
- Section 6. Health-improving physical culture, sports, fitness and recreation in the context of the recovery of Ukraine and its regions.
The speakers conducted a detailed analysis of economic strategies for the recovery of Ukraine’s economy after the war; discussed investment opportunities for the development of small and medium-sized businesses, the role of political reforms and stability in the country’s recovery, the impact of international support and cooperation, prospects for the restoration of social infrastructure, education, culture, as well as psychological rehabilitation and integration of veterans and the population.
