European teaching experience for students of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic
We already have the first practical result of the visit of the delegation of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University to the Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany!
On May 16, 40 students of the Department of Software, as well as teachers of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic (Assoc. Prof. Anzhelika Parkhomenko, Assoc. Prof. Iryna Zelenyova and Assoc. Prof. Serhiy Samoilyk) attended an online lecture by Professor of Information Technology Daniel Fischer on the topic «Free RTOS — An introduction».

Professor Fischer (Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Medical Engineering and Computer Science, Offenburg University of Applied Sciences) teaches courses on embedded systems, embedded software testing, embedded real-time systems and software development using programming languages such as Assembler, C, C++ and C#.
During the lecture, he proved the relevance of studying and applying real-time operating systems (RTOS) in the design of embedded systems, provided basic theoretical information on existing software architectures of embedded systems and key concepts of RTOS, demonstrated practical examples of programming and using software environments.

Professor Fischer (Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Medical Engineering and Computer Science, Offenburg University of Applied Sciences) teaches courses on embedded systems, embedded software testing, real-time embedded systems and software development using programming languages such as Assembler, C, C++ and C#.
During the lecture, he demonstrated the relevance of studying and using real-time operating systems (RTOS) in the design of embedded systems, gave basic theoretical information about the existing architectures of embedded systems software and key concepts of RTOS, as well as showed practical examples of programming and using software.
