Pyotr Blumczynski is a Doctor of Translation Studies, Professor of Translation and Intercultural Studies, Director of the Centre for Translation and Interpretation at Queen’s University, UK, a member of the UK Academy of Higher Education, a member of the International Association for Translation and Intercultural Studies of the European Society for Translation Studies, author and co-author of numerous monographs and co-editor of authoritative publications in the field of translation studies.
Pyotr Blumczynski’s scientific research covers a wide range of topics: from the influence of ideology on translation sacred texts to the philosophical aspects of translation.
