«PROyouth» forum: we dream, we act, we achieve!

On February 27, active, ambitious and creative people gathered at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University at the «PRO youth: inspiration, creation, implementation» forum for the 125th anniversary of the university.

The forum of student self-government and the trade union committee of students of the Polytechnic are interactive zones where participants were charged with useful insights from top experts.

The rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University Victor Greshta, the head of the students’ trade union committee Maryna Zinchenko and the head of student self-government Sofiia Stepanenko wished inspiration to the participants.

What fascinated our youth at the forum?

• SMM and digital marketing – finding effective strategies for managing social networks from a marketer, our graduate Elizaveta Hanushchak
• leadership and public speaking – the head of the Center for Support of Public Initiatives «Free UA», our graduate student Mariia Pavlenko shared methods of effective communication
• Ukrainian art – Petrykiv painting and clay therapy with masters of the NGO «Dorechni» Svitlana Shiyan and Anastasiia Solokha.
• struggle with stress – practical advice from a psychologist who works in the Gestalt approach, EMDR, a family system therapist, a member of EMDR associations Ukraine, NPA and the association of child and family psychologists of Ukraine Karina Harutyunyan
• building a career – together with a career consultant, our student Daryna Marchenko, they created a resume that would attract the attention of the most discerning HR managers
• female entrepreneurship – U&We hub project coordinator Hanna Hontaruk presented the project and invited to develop women’s initiatives together
• project management and financing — we were looking for resources for the implementation of youth projects together with Valeriya Zinchenko, coordinator of the Mobile Youth Work program at Democracy reporting international Ukraine

And at the end, we all enjoyed playing board games together — getting to know each other and discussing the impressions of the day.
