Fly Tech: we program, control, fly
On March 15, at the «Fly Tech: we program, control, fly» class of the «Carousel of Directions» group of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic», students of grades 6-7 plunged into the world of aviation and technology.
They learned why airplanes stay in the air and don’t fall, and also studied the structure of various aircraft. Schoolchildren had a unique opportunity to control quadcopters with their own hands and learn remote piloting skills. They also learned to program in the SCRATCH environment, where they created their own flight paths. Of particular interest was the augmented reality simulator, where everyone could feel like a real pilot.
Thanks to the interactive approach, children not only gained new knowledge, but also developed logical thinking and practical skills in programming and controlling aircraft.
