Final of the mini-football tournament: teachers & students

On October 24, a sporting event took place at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University that kept everyone in suspense — the final mini-football match between freshmen and a team of university employees. This tournament was made possible thanks to the initiative of Rector Viktor Greshta, the support of the student government and the student trade union.

In the final, emotions were running high! Young and ambitious freshmen, who confidently passed the qualifying stages, faced a team of university teachers and employees. It was a real duel of speed and experience, excitement and strategic skill.

From the first minutes, it became clear: the youth are ready to fight to the last. But experienced employees led by the rector demonstrated that endurance, tactics and team spirit are the keys to victory. The ball passed from team to team, the goalkeepers skillfully held the defense, and the attackers looked for a good angle for a successful shot.

The final whistle – and victory for the employees’ team! However, this is only the beginning of the story for the first-year students. Their enthusiasm and determination left a bright mark on the field – the teachers had a hard time! And ahead of the students are new training sessions, new challenges and, undoubtedly, future victories!
