Excursion for children of the «Smistovno» cell from the NGO «Dorechni»

On June 25, an excursion for children from the «Zmistovno» center from the NGO «Dorechni» to the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.

At the Museum of the History of Technical Progress, we told about the creation of the university and showed ancient inventions. The children saw one of the first Zaporozhian cars produced and happily sat behind its wheel.

The Department of Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Plants demonstrated to the children modern automation systems used in the service sector, industry and agriculture. They enjoyed testing the manual and automatic modes of operation of sorting stations, observing the liquid level control system, an automatic car wash model and a SMART greenhouse. Students also gained their first skills in piloting quadcopters.

At the Noosphere engineering school, children learned about innovative space developments, the features of 3D printing, and understood how the process of developing models from an idea to a finished device takes place.

The student government held a master class in quilling, where children made their own picture.
