Excursion for children of Energodarsky hub
On June 25, an excursion was held for the children of the Energodarsk Hub by the Department of Electric Drives and Automation of Industrial Installations of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
Children controlled models of sorting stations, an automatic car wash, a SMART greenhouse and a laboratory stand for studying pneumatic automation.
Teachers of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University conducted a class on robotics, during which the children got to know the possibilities of programming Micro:bit robo-cars and developing the simplest games based on this equipment. Programming skills in the Scratch environment helped to master specialized commands for programming quadcopters. The opportunity to experience augmented reality in VR glasses, where children piloted a real plane, caused considerable excitement.
We are sure that the impressions from the class will soon become a motivation to study at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic!
