Exploring the world of automotive technology
On December 14, an interactive class of the «Carousel of directions» group took place on the topic «Exploring the world of automotive technologies».
At the beginning, schoolchildren were looking for an answer to the question, which came first: the wheel or the engine? They drew simple drawings of a car, a truck and a bus, and also found out how the engine transmits energy to the wheels.
Students started the stand with a real internal combustion engine for the first time and monitored the speed of rotation and the voltage on the battery using the sensors. Then they calculated the power of the engine, learned how gearboxes and different types of engines of the «Audi» car work.
