Arduino and FlyTech: first steps to big projects
From September to December, students of the 8th grade of the Zaporizhzhia Technical Lyceum attended classes at the Children’s and Youth Scientific University of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University. While studying in the «Robotics with Arduino» and «FlyTech» groups, they acquired practical skills in programming and working with Arduino, created robotic models, explored the principles of flight, and also developed critical thinking and the ability to work in a team.
Pro-Rector Ruslan Kulikovskyi and Director of DYUU Olena Nazarova gave a welcome speech at the solemn event, and they also presented the students with certificates of completion of studies.
We express special thanks to the creative and proactive leaders of the groups: Serhiy Deev, senior lecturer of the Department of Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Installations, Svitlana Donets and Ihor Poleshka, heads of educational laboratories of the Department of Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Installations, for their professional approach, interesting practical tasks and inspiring students to create their own projects.
We also sincerely thank the director of the Zaporizhzhia Technical Lyceum, Ihor Bagler, who initiated and organized the cooperation between DYUNU and the Lyceum, thanks to which students had the opportunity to study in groups and immerse themselves in the world of modern engineering and technological solutions.
Students enjoyed participating in practical tasks, designing their own projects and seeing the results of their work in action. Many noted that the classes inspired them to continue developing their skills in robotics and future technologies.
Congratulations to all participants and we wish you new discoveries and interesting projects!
