Academic cooperation with Krakow Polytechnic
From May 26 to June 10, representatives of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic, led by Vice-Rector for Research Vadym Shalomeev, visited Krakow University of Technology, Poland.
The scientific and pedagogical internship took place within the framework of the NAWA international program (academic cooperation with Ukrainian universities), STARS CUT-UA and with the support of the National Research Fund of Ukraine.
At the Faculty of Materials Science and Physics of the Krakow Polytechnic, our scientific and pedagogical staff got acquainted with modern equipment for researching the properties of materials and three-dimensional printing, with software for controlling technological processes and parameters of structures, and also got access to laboratories for conducting experimental research.
During the project meeting, representatives of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic, vice-rector for scientific work Vadym Shalomeev, head of the educational and methodological department Andrii Parkhomenko, head of the department of scientific work of students Snizhan Vychuzhanina, assistant professors of the department of software Anzhelika Parkhomenko and Olha Gladkova talked with colleagues from Krakow and Lviv Polytechnics, discussed common tasks and problems of organizing the educational process and scientific work of students and teachers.

Internationalization of the activity of our university, search for new horizons of cooperation with European institutions of higher education are important areas of activity of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic.
