40 scholarships for study in higher education institutions of Kazakhstan

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine reports that the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides 40 scholarships for study of Ukrainian citizens in Kazakhstani higher education institutions in the 2021/2022 academic year. In particular, for bachelor’s programs – 30 scholarships, master’s programs – 10. The decision was made in accordance with the Agreement between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on cooperation in the field of education and science dated September 14, 2010.

To participate in the competition, candidates must send the following scanned PDF documents to the email address scholarshipsmon@gmail.com, indicating in the subject line «Scholarships for study in the Republic of Kazakhstan 2021-2022»:

– application (PDF, 48 KB) of the applicant for study in higher education institutions Kazakhstan of the established sample, filled in block letters, with a photograph;

– a copy of an identity document (international passport);

– a notarized copy of a document on the previous level of education and an appendix to it:

– for school students – a notarized certificate of study in the final year with grades for the last half of the year;

– for students who have not received diplomas of education – a notarized extract from the grade book and a notarized document on complete general secondary education with an appendix. Students also need to provide a certificate from the educational institution confirming their student status (in Ukrainian);

– a medical certificate for those going to study abroad, issued by the official health authority of the candidate’s country of residence;

– medical certificate of absence of HIV/AIDS, issued by an official health authority (bilingual – Ukrainian/English – or Ukrainian with an unofficial translation into English);

– motivational essay in English;

– letter of recommendation (in English);

– certificate of absence of criminal record, translated into English and notarized.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine will accept applications until April 15, 2021. 

Incomplete packages of documents, as well as documents sent in violation of the established terms and conditions, will not be accepted for consideration.

Applicants must have paper versions of documents with them upon arrival at the declared higher education institution.

Upon request On the Kazakh side, the success rate of applicants for a scholarship must be at least 82%.
