On July 23, representatives of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University took part in the first presentation meeting within the Teaching and Administration Network for Double Degree Education and Mobility — Ukraine and Germany (TANDEM-UA-DE) project

This four-year project under the auspices of the DAAD creates a partnership network between the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden and six Ukrainian universities for the development of a double English-language program in digital technologies and management, academic mobility and the training of new generation specialists.

Prof. Ulrich Muller, Vice-president of OTH AW; Viktor Greshta, rector of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University and representatives of partner universities: Lutsk National Technical University, Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, Odesa State Agrarian University, Igor Sikorskyi Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Volodymyr Vinnichenko Central Ukrainian State University.

In his speech, Viktor Greshta, rector of Zaporizhia Polytechnic University, thanked partners for their support within the previous DILLUGIS project, which allowed a significant number of students and teachers of the Polytechnic to participate in academic mobility and improve their qualifications. He emphasized that TANDEM-UA-DE opens a new stage of cooperation and will be a step towards the creation of an interdisciplinary program in digital technologies and management, which provides for double diplomas for students of Ukraine and Germany.

Participants also discussed the first steps of project implementation: formation of common modules, training planning and training of teachers for the launch of the program in the near future.

We thank the project coordinators – Professor of the Department of Economics and Customs Affairs Kateryna Antonyuk and Professor of the Department of Management and Administration Dmytro Antonyuk – for their active work, coordination of all stages and contribution to the development of the international partnership of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University within the framework of TANDEM-UA-DE and the previous DILLUGIS project.
