Recovery meetings on emotional stabilization “Point of Calm” from Kateryna Rakytyanska, a stakeholder of the Department of Psychology
In October, the Department of Psychology facilitated recovery meetings on emotional stabilization “Point of Peace”, which were attended by undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Psychology. Our students were invited to these meetings by the department’s stakeholder Kateryna Rakityanska, psychologist, psychotherapist in Gestalt, CBT, EMDR approaches, art therapist, family and group therapist, trainer.
Meetings were held offline on October 25 and November 1. The leading theme was inner recovery. The measures contributed to increasing the level of emotional stability, deepening contact with the body and the ability to self-regulate.
During the classes, the participants performed practical techniques that helped to focus on their own bodily and emotional sensations, reduce the level of tension and increase awareness of the current moment. Practitioners contributed to the restoration of an internal sense of security, helped to find their own resources and ways of self-support.
Kateryna Rakityanska is pleased to invite the students of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic to join another emotional stabilization recovery meeting “Point of Peace”!
