We invite everyone to participate in the discussion panel “The Olympic Path: From Victories to Mission” on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University!
The panel will bring together Olympic champions, coaches, managers, young athletes and students to talk about the continuity of sports values, the strength of spirit and inspiration that is passed down from generation to generation.

Discussion participants are Olympic legends of the Zaporizhzhia region, who will share their success stories, the philosophy of victory and the experience of transforming a sports career into a life vocation:
– Serhii Kushniruk – Olympic champion in handball (Montreal, 1976), professor of the department of theory and methods of physical education, dean of the faculty of physical education, sports and human health at the Berdyansk State Pedagogical University university
– Olga Strazheva – Olympic champion in gymnastics, Honored Master of Sports of the USSR (Seoul, 1988), director of the Communal Institution “Regional Specialized Children’s and Youth Sports School of the Olympic reserve for sports gymnastics “Metalurg” of the Zaporizhia Regional Council
– Olena Zhupina – bronze medalist of the 2000 Olympic Games (Sydney) from diving (synchronized springboard diving 3 m), Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine
– Anna Sorokina – bronze medalist of the 2000 Olympics (Sydney), Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, vice-president of the Diving Federation of Ukraine, head of the technical committee for diving European Aquatics
– Oksana Raichel – bronze medalist of the 2004 Olympics (Athens), Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, handball coach
– Tetyana Turova – Honored Coach of Ukraine, mentor of Olympic medalists in diving
– Olesya Povkh – Olympic medalist in athletics, 4×100 m relay (London, 2012), Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, President of the Athletics Federation of the Zaporizhia Region
