Students of Zaporizhia Polytechnic University are prizewinners of the All-Ukrainian Engineering Competition "Best of the Best 3.0"!
On March 26–27, the All-Ukrainian Engineering Competition in the field of automation and programming of production systems “Best of the Best 3.0” was held at the Polesie National University (Zhytomyr) with the support of LLC “AMM Project”.
Zaporizhia Polytechnic was represented by a team of students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering under the leadership of Associate Professor of the Department of Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Installations Yuriy Krysan.
During the two days of the competition, students Oleksiy Tertyshny (E–315sp), Tymofiy Poleshko (E–313) and Danil Ivlev (E–314) performed test and practical tasks in electrical engineering, automatic control theory, digital electronics and programming in the direction of automation of production.
According to the results of the competition, our students took 2 out of 6 prize places:
– 2nd place — Timofiy Poleshko
– 3rd place — Oleksiy Tertyshny
The winners were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes from the competition partners, and they also received the opportunity to undergo certified training in “STEP7 Basic” in programming industrial controllers “Siemens”.
