Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduate Students, Doctoral Students, Young Scientists and Specialists
The Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduate Students, Doctoral Students, Young Scientists and Specialists (NTSA) is a self-governing association of scientific youth, which operates on a non-profit basis and is part of the public self-government system of NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic».
About the Society
Young scientists of NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic», in addition to postgraduate students and doctoral students, are considered scientific, scientific-pedagogical and other employees of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University up to 35 years of age (doctors of sciences – up to 40 years of age), who conduct fundamental and (or) applied scientific research and obtain scientific and (or) scientific and technical (applied) results.
The Scientific Association of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University was created to unite the scientific youth of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, protect their rights and interests regarding scientific activities, support science-intensive ideas, innovations and exchange of knowledge.

All-Ukrainian Forum «Science for Youth»
The goal of the All-Ukrainian Forum «Science for Youth» is to create an open communication and scientific and educational space to support young scientists, students, postgraduates and talented youth, popularize science and innovative activities, develop interdisciplinary cooperation, exchange modern scientific ideas, research experience and practices, as well as stimulate the professional, creative and technological development of the younger generation in the face of modern social and global challenges.
The main goals of the forum

Support and development of youth science
stimulating research activity of students, postgraduates and young scientists and creating conditions for their professional and scientific development.

Formation of a scientific community and professional ties
establishing communication between young researchers, experienced scientists, universities, scientific organizations, business and other partners.

Introducing young scientists to funding opportunities
grants, funds, international programs, startup incubators and other tools to support research and scientific projects.

Developing practical competencies of a young scientist
from presenting a scientific idea and project management to using digital technologies, working with intellectual property, forming teams and international project activities.

Internationalization of youth science
involving young people in international scientific and project networks, finding partners and getting acquainted with European opportunities.

Promoting the practical implementation of scientific results
helping young researchers move from a scientific idea or prototype to an applied solution, product or innovative service, including issues of popularization, technology transfer and commercialization.

Popularizing science and creating a positive image of a scientific career
showing young people that science can be not only an academic activity, but also the basis of a professional career, international cooperation, entrepreneurship and technological innovation.
Round table «Modern challenges and prospects of youth science in the Zaporizhzhia region»
The round table was held on April 24, 2025 at the Educational Hub of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University. The event brought together young scientists, educators, representatives of student self-government, government bodies and higher education institutions of the Zaporizhzhia region. Representatives of seven higher education institutions of the region took part in the round table.
The main goal of the event was to discuss current problems and prospects for the development of youth science, identify key challenges for young researchers and form joint mechanisms to overcome them. Special attention was paid to developing the motivation of young scientists, finding sources of funding for scientific activities, expanding opportunities in STEM areas and strengthening inter-university cooperation.
The practical result of the round table was a discussion of the concept of developing the scientific potential of the Zaporizhzhia region and the formation of a resolution with proposals to the Council of Young Scientists under the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration.
Participation in the project «Book of Councils of Young Scientists»
«Book of Councils of Young Scientists» is a systemic project of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, aimed at collecting, summarizing and presenting the experience of the activities of councils of young scientists of higher education institutions and scientific institutions of Ukraine.
This is not just a directory with a list of councils. Each issue forms a kind of snapshot of the state of the youth scientific movement in Ukraine for a certain year: it presents the councils of young scientists, their projects, events, partnerships, results, practices of popularizing science and supporting young researchers.

Council of young scientists
The Council of Young Scientists and Specialists is a collegial elected advisory body, the main purpose of which is to ensure the protection of the rights and interests of young scientists.
The Council consists of 34 members: 23 representatives of faculties and 11 young scientists.
