Round table «Modern challenges and prospects of youth science in the Zaporizhzhia region»
On April 24, those who shape the future scientific space of Ukraine gathered at the Educational Hub of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University. The round table «Modern Challenges and Prospects of Youth Science in the Zaporizhzhia Region» brought together young scientists, educators, representatives of student self-government and government – everyone who wants to turn ideas into real changes.
The most active representatives of the region’s higher education institutions came together to raise, identify and discuss the problems of youth science, find new ways to confront the challenges of turbulent times in the field of young researchers’ activities and expand opportunities for young scientists. Ambitious and bold ideas, constructive criticism of the current difficulties of research activities, the organization of joint mechanisms for solving a number of problems, in particular the development of creative motivation, the search for sources of funding and opportunities in STEM areas – the main achievements of the round table.
The event was opened and the young people were wished a productive discussion by the rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, Viktor Greshta. The director of the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, Maryna Makukhina, also welcomed the participants of the round table.
Among the participants were representatives of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, Zaporizhzhia National University, Technical University «Metinvest Polytechnic», Melitopol State Pedagogical University, Tavria State Agrotechnological University, Zaporizhzhia Medical and Pharmaceutical University, Khortytsya National Academy.
After the official part, there will be a coffee break, a Q&A session with speakers, a discussion and a search for the ideal concept for developing the scientific potential of the region: creating a resolution with proposals to the Council of Young Scientists at the ZODA.
All participants received certificates of participation in the round table.
The event was held with the support of the Youth Council under the Zaporizhzhia City Council and the Council of Young Scientists under the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration
Today we heard thoughts. Tomorrow these thoughts will become solutions. And the day after tomorrow — new opportunities for the entire scientific community!
