Round table "Modern challenges and prospects of youth science in the Zaporizhzhia region"
On April 24, those who shape the future scientific space of Ukraine gathered in the Educational Hub of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University. The round table “Modern challenges and prospects of youth science in the Zaporizhzhia region” brought together young scientists, educators, representatives of student self-government and authorities – everyone who wants to turn ideas into real changes.
The most active representatives of higher education institutions of the region gathered together to raise, define and discuss the problems of youth science, to find new ways to face the challenges of the turbulent times in the field of activity of young researchers and to expand opportunities for young scientists. Ambitious and bold ideas, constructive criticism of the current difficulties of research activities, organization of joint mechanisms for solving a number of problems, including the development of creative motivation, the search for sources of funding and opportunities in STEM fields are the main achievements of the round table.
Rector of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University Victor Greshta opened the event and wished the youth a productive discussion, Maryna Makukhina, director of the Department of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Russian Federation, also congratulated the participants of the round table.
Among the participants were representatives of Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University, Zaporizhia National University, Metinvest Polytechnic Technical University, Melitopol State Pedagogical University, Tavriyya State Agro-Technological University, Zaporizhia Medical and Pharmaceutical University, Khortytsk National Academy.
After the official part, there will be a coffee break, a Q&A session with speakers, a discussion and the search for an ideal concept for the development of the scientific potential of the region: the creation of a resolution with proposals for the Council of Young Scientists at ZODA.
All participants received certificates of participation in the round table.
