Teaching and Assessment
The educational process and its organization are based on the principles of: respect for every person, ensuring their rights and freedoms, in particular the right to education; strict compliance with the Constitution of Ukraine, current legislation regulating educational activities; scientificity, humanism, democracy; gradualism, continuity, inseparability; organic unity of educational, methodological, scientific and research and educational work; humanization of education as an integral part of social activity; indissoluble unity of forms and content of education and the needs of professional activity; inadmissibility of interference by political parties, public and religious organizations. The educational process is carried out in the following forms: educational classes; independent work; practical training; control measures.
The results of the applicant’s studies in accordance with the «Regulations on the Organization of the Educational Process of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University are assessed using control measures provided for by this educational program and programs of educational components: on a 100-point scale (for exams, differentiated tests, course projects/papers, practice reports) or on a two-point (»passed« – »not passed«) scale (for tests). The methodology for assessing the results of studies for certain educational components is specified in the programs of educational components and syllabi. Positive grades for all forms of control are grades from 60 to 100 points on a 100-point scale and the grade »passed” – on a two-point scale.
Resource Provision
Doctors of Science, professors, candidates of science, associate professors, teachers, specialists in this field of knowledge who meet the current licensing conditions for conducting educational activities and have experience in scientific and pedagogical and/or practical work participate in teaching academic disciplines.
