Teaching and Assessment
Student-centered and problem-oriented learning, self-study and e-learning based on the Moodle distance learning platform. Personality-oriented and individually creative approach. Lectures, multimedia lectures and practical classes (with elements of scientific research, situational tasks, cases, etc.), independent research work, development of innovative projects, writing coursework, preparation of qualification work and consultations with teachers (group and individual). Participation in business activity trainings, seminars, conferences held at the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University and other universities of Ukraine, the Zaporizhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the participation of representatives of the regional and national business environment in order to form in students an understanding of modern employer requirements for professional competencies. Educational and methodological support and consulting for independent work are provided through the university’s virtual learning environment: Moodle distance learning system, Google classroom, Google Meet, Zoom.
Assessment of applicants based on the results of control measures, the list of which is determined by the current Regulations on the Organization of the Educational Process of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University, namely in the form of: tests, differentiated tests, exams, rector’s control works, defense of practice reports and course works, as well as state certification. Assessment of academic achievements of applicants for higher education is carried out: on a 100-point scale or on a two-point scale (passed – not passed). Positive assessments for all forms of control are scores from 60 to 100 points on a 100-point scale and a score of “passed” on a two-point scale. The limit of unsatisfactory learning based on the results of the final control is a score below 60 points on a 100-point scale or a score of “not passed” on a two-point scale. Obtaining a score of 60 points or higher implies obtaining positive grades in all mandatory types of current control specified in the educational component curriculum. Certification of higher education applicants in the form of a public defense of qualification work is carried out in accordance with the current Regulations on the procedure for creating and organizing the work of the examination commission for certification of higher education applicants at Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University.
Resource Provision
The implementation of the program is provided by highly qualified teachers, who 100% have an academic degree and academic title, as well as extensive experience in educational, methodological and research activities. All teachers meet the requirements approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 12/30/2015 No. 1187 (as amended by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 347 dated 05/10/2018) “On Approval of the Licensing Conditions for the Conduct of Educational Activities”.
Scientific and pedagogical workers regularly undergo internships in Ukrainian and foreign universities in accordance with the current Regulations on Advanced Training of Scientific and Pedagogical Workers at Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University.
Individual teachers have certificates of English language proficiency in accordance with the Common European Recommendation on Language Education (level B2)
Higher education students have unlimited access to the resources of the university’s scientific library (http://elibrary.zp.edu.ua/login) and repository (http://eir.zp.edu.ua). The university has computer classes, a sports complex, a cafeteria, a cafe, a student leisure center, a psychological service, and others.
To ensure the OP, the department has its own lecture halls equipped with multimedia equipment. In addition, a computer class of general faculty subordination is used for the educational process, where there is access to the Internet. Thematic classes and auditoriums of the university’s educational buildings are used for seminar classes. Higher education students have unlimited access to the resources of the university’s scientific library. All necessary social and household infrastructure is available.

The library fund is provided with textbooks, study guides, methodological publications, etc., subscriptions are made to the main professional periodicals of Ukraine.

The educational process uses ISOPro, MASTER and other project management software.
Teaching and methodological materials are developed and systematically updated by academic staff with their subsequent placement in the Moodle distance learning system.

Academic Mobility
Higher education students have the opportunity to participate in various educational or research programs within national higher education institutions, study in several specialties, take individual training courses with subsequent recognition of the results obtained and credit transfer in accordance with the current Regulations on the procedure for exercising the right to academic mobility of participants in the educational process of NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”. Higher education students have the opportunity to participate in the national credit mobility program under bilateral agreements concluded between NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” and: State Higher Education Institution “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology”; National University “Odesa Polytechnic”, National University “Poltava Polytechnic named after Yuriy Kondratyuk”, National University “Lviv Polytechnic”, Western Ukrainian National University, Lutsk National Technical University, Kharkiv National Automobile and Road University, National Technical University “Dnipro Polytechnic”, etc. The right to national credit mobility is regulated by the current Regulation on the procedure for implementing the right to academic mobility of participants in the educational process of NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”.

Foreign Students
The program provides for the possibility of training foreign citizens on a general basis, provided that they have sufficient knowledge of the Ukrainian language. The university provides for foreign applicants to take preparatory courses in the study of the Ukrainian language a year before the start of basic studies, and then throughout the entire period of study.
The training of foreign applicants for higher education is regulated by the current Regulations on the organization of recruitment and training (internship) of foreigners and stateless persons at the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”
