Career guidance meeting for students with psychologists

On February 25, the Department of Psychology organized a career orientation meeting for undergraduate and graduate students of the specialty “Psychology” with psychologists of the National Guard of Ukraine.

The speakers of the event were:
– Olga Suprun – Head of the Psychological Support Department of the 23rd Separate Public Order Protection Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, stakeholder and graduate of the Psychology Department of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University
– Oksana Tymofeeva – Head of the Psychological Support Service of the 19th Separate Battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine
– Yana Odynoka – Officer of the Psychological Support Department of the 23rd Separate Public Order Protection Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Khortytsia”

About 60 participants took part: students of various courses and forms of study, teachers of the Department of Psychology and representatives of other departments of our university.

During the meeting, the participants learned about:
– features of the work of a psychologist at NSU
– job responsibilities, working conditions and types of activities
– psychological support at NSU
– basic principles of professional psychological training and areas of psychological education
