Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University presented its achievements at the international conference Horizon4Poland’25

At the end of November 2025, the International Conference Horizon4Poland’25 was held at the Museum of Polish History in Warsaw – a key event for representatives of science and business who seek to implement joint research projects within the framework of the Horizon Europe program.

The honorary organizer of the event was the Representation of the European Commission in Poland, and the organizer was the National Contact Point for EU Research Programs at the National Center for Research and Development of Poland.

NU “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic” was represented by the Head of the National Contact Point Professor Dmytro Pavlenko and leading specialist Myroslava Shchetinina.

Participation in the conference was an important step for the development of international scientific cooperation of the university. The main objectives of the visit were:
– presentation of the directions of scientific activity of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University to the international community
– search for partners for the implementation of joint research projects within the framework of the Horizon Europe program
– presentation of the innovative project “BIO-SWITCH” — development of biodegradable magnesium implants with a controlled rate of degradation

The conference brought together over 500 participants from different European countries. The program included strategic debates on the future of scientific funding, discussion panels on successful projects and effective technology transfer, as well as specialized partner search sessions and presentation events.

Representatives of NU “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic” took part in thematic sessions, in particular in the info session on partnership competitions, where the possibilities of participation in European research partnerships were discussed.

Participation in Horizon4Poland’25 opens up new prospects for international scientific cooperation of NU “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic” and involvement in prestigious European research programs!
