The mission of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering is to bring light to the home of humanity

Zaporizhzhia region is unique in terms of generation, transmission and consumption.

Almost a third of all electrical energy is generated in Zaporizhzhia: hydroelectric power plant, thermal power plant, nuclear power plant, solar power plants, wind power plants. A large number of electrical substations and an extensive electrical network. Powerful consumers of electrical energy.

So, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering is the energy stronghold of the Zaporizhzhia region.

The year of foundation of the faculty is 1961.

Department "Power Supply of Industrial Enterprises"

The department trains bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy in educational programs of the specialty G3 "Electrical Engineering". The year of foundation of the department is 1959.

Department of "Electrical Machines"

The department trains bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy in educational programs of specialty G3 "Electrical Engineering", bachelors in specialty G4 "Energy Production". The year of foundation of the department is 1959.

Department of "Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Plants"

The department trains bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy in educational programs of specialty G3 "Electrical Engineering", bachelors and masters in specialty G7 "Automation, computer-integrated technologies and robotics", bachelors in specialty G12 "Aviation and rocket and space technology". The year of foundation of the department is 1959.

Department of "Electrical and Electronic Devices"

The department trains bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy in educational programs of specialty G3 "Electrical Engineering", bachelors in specialty G5 "Electronics, electronic communications, instrument making and radio engineering". The year of foundation of the department is 1961.

Department of Physics

The department provides teaching of academic disciplines in physics for engineering and technical specialties. The year of foundation of the department is 1930.
