Subsidized housing in dormitories

The following students are eligible for free housing in the student dormitories of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University:
- Orphans and children deprived of parental care, as well as individuals from among them;
- Individuals who, while enrolled in school between the ages of 18 and 23, were left without parents (whose parents died, were declared dead, were killed in action, or went missing in action);
- Persons recognized as combatants, persons with war-related disabilities, and victims of the Revolution of Dignity in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Status of War Veterans and Guarantees of Their Social Protection”;
- Children of individuals recognized as combatants, persons with war-related disabilities, or victims of the Revolution of Dignity, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Status of War Veterans and Guarantees of Their Social Protection” (until they complete their higher education, but not beyond the age of 23);
- Children of deceased persons specified in paragraph 1 of Article 10-1 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Status of War Veterans and Guarantees of Their Social Protection” (until they complete their higher education, but not beyond the age of 23);
- Children of persons who were killed or died as a result of wounds, injuries, concussions, or other health impairments sustained while participating in the Revolution of Dignity, as well as children of persons posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine for civic courage, patriotism, heroic defense of the constitutional foundations of democracy, human rights and freedoms, and selfless service to the Ukrainian people, demonstrated during the Revolution of Dignity (until the completion of higher education, but no longer than until they reach the age of 23);
- Persons for whom it has been established that they were deprived of their personal liberty as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Social and Legal Protection of Persons for Whom It Has Been Established That They Were Deprived of Their Personal Liberty as a Result of Armed Aggression Against Ukraine, and Members of Their Families,” following their release;
- Children of persons who have been deprived of their personal liberty as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Social and Legal Protection of Persons Deprived of Their Personal Liberty as a Result of Armed Aggression against Ukraine, and Members of Their Families” (until the completion of higher education, but not longer than until they reach the age of 23);
- Children of persons who have been confirmed to have been deprived of their personal liberty as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Social and Legal Protection of Persons Confirmed to Have Been Deprived of Their Personal Liberty as a Result of Armed Aggression against Ukraine, and Members of Their Families,” who were killed (died) (until the completion of higher education, but not longer than until they reach the age of 23);
The following students are eligible for residence in the student dormitories of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University at a reduced rate (50% of the standard fee):
- Children registered as internally displaced persons until they complete their higher education, but no later than when they reach the age of 23 (provided that such persons do not receive assistance in accordance with Resolution No. 332 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 20, 2022, “Certain Issues Regarding the Payment of Living Allowances to Internally Displaced Persons” (Official Gazette of Ukraine, 2022, No. 26, p. 1418);
- Children residing in settlements along the contact line (until they complete their higher education, but no later than their 23rd birthday).
To exercise this right, the student must submit documents confirming their eligibility for the relevant social category to the Social Protection Committee of the Student Trade Union Council at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
