Winter recovery or rest with the native «Mashinka»
Already the second month of autumn is coming to an end, winter will be in a month, and New Year and winter vacation will be in two. And where better to spend Christmas holidays and vacations in general than in Western Ukraine? Especially if you are going on this trip with your favorite university!
On October 21, at a presentation on winter recovery, Alina Kizilova told the audience what trips are planned for ZNTU students and not only. Moreover, everyone could ask questions about the trips, and old-timers of «Mashinka» even shared an interesting life hack, how to heat the accommodation while traveling for free, but at the same time effectively. We received answers to all questions, such as: what to take with us, how we will be resettled, where we will live and many other how? what? and where?
Therefore, the Trade Union Committee of ZNTU students offers everyone who wants to experience the entire atmosphere of the ghost town of Pripyat in the fall, and relax in the Carpathians and the ancient city of Lviv in the winter. The price of each trip does not include the purchase of tickets to the place of rest. And now let’s dwell on each trip in more detail.
1. New Year and Christmas in the Carpathians 2016 (Krasiya Resort)
Check-in for the New Year from December 26 to January 4, and for Christmas – from January 2 to 11.
In addition to the ski slopes, there are many interesting excursion sites nearby: Uzhgorod, horse riding, thermal springs and 3 ancient castles. Krasia also has one of the longest slopes for skiing (3.5 km), ski lifts, artificial snow cannons.
Cost: UAH 2,250 for the New Year and UAH 2,150 for Christmas. When staying in 2-person rooms – 2,400 UAH, in rooms with amenities – 2,600 UAH.

The price includes: transfer from the train to the hotel and lifts, accommodation (6 full days) in 2-, 3-, 4-person rooms, two meals a day, festive table and program, excursions in Lviv, free skiing lessons during the entire vacation.
The price does not include: travel from Zaporizhzhia and back, rental of ski equipment (70 hryvnias), ski lifts, additional excursions (optional).
2. Winter 2016 – Carpathians – Dragobrat
Terms of departure after the holidays (taking into account the travel time, at the hotel – 5 days and 5 nights):
Cost: UAH 1,950, in March – UAH 1,850.
Free for children up to 5 years old, from 6 to 12 years old – UAH 200 discount.
From 08.01 – 2500 hryvnias. (this visit is for 7 full days there).
The price includes: accommodation for a full 5 days in double or triple rooms, two meals a day at the hotel, a transfer from the Yasinya railway station to the hotel and back, a one-day tour of Lviv accompanied by a tour guide, lessons in skiing and snowboarding.
The price does not include: travel from Zaporizhzhia to Yasinya railway station and back, rental of ski equipment (70 UAH/day), ski lifts (from 10 UAH).
3. Carpathians – Dragobrat 2016
For your attention: always natural snow, many trails of different levels of difficulty, two meals a day.
Cost: 2-bed, 3-bed rooms 2100 UAH, 4-bed rooms 1900 UAH. For members of the trade union committee of ZNTU, a discount of UAH 400.
The price includes: accommodation in Euro standard rooms with all amenities, two meals a day at the hotel.
The price does not include: travel from Zaporizhzhia to Yasinya railway station and back, rental of ski equipment (70 UAH/day), ski lifts (from 10 UAH).
1. Lviv
Social recreation in the city of Leva on the basis of a student dormitory of the Lviv Polytechnic.
Cost: approximately UAH 600.
The price includes: accommodation in rooms for 4, 6, 8 people (hot water from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.), meals in the dining room (breakfast and lunch).
The price does not include: travel from Zaporizhzhia to Lviv.
4. Rest in the Carpathians at the Slavske tourist complex «Polytechnic-2»
«Polytechnic-2» is clean mountain air, unique landscapes of the Carpathians, 2 sources that provide the base with clean spring water, many green spaces on the territory of the complex, a waterfall and a swing.
Cost: approximately UAH 800.
The price includes: accommodation for 5 days in 2-, 3-, 4-bed rooms, two meals a day.
The price does not include: travel from Zaporizhzhia and back, ski equipment rental (70 UAH/day), ski lifts (from 10 UAH).
So, as you can see, the rest is diverse, for lovers of extreme sports, fans of steep slopes, connoisseurs of the elegance of the city of Leo or those who want to visit a ghost town.
