Meeting with the Head of the Information Center of the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD

On March 23, a meeting was held at Zaporizhzhia National Technical University with the Head of the Information Center of the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD in Kyiv, Dr. Gisela Zimmermann. The meeting was attended by the First Vice-Rector Prof. Volodymyr Prushkivskyi, DAAD scholar, Associate Professor of the Department of Software Tools Serhiy Serdyuk, Head of the Department of Translation Theory and Practice Prof. Anatoliy Prykhodko, Head of the Department of International Activities and Work with Foreign Students of ZNTU Svitlana Sydorchenko, and Leading Specialist of the Department Larisa Duyko.

After a brief introduction by Ms. Gisela Zimmermann to the history of ZNTU, the prospects for further development of relations between ZNTU and the largest German public organization supporting international academic exchanges of students and scientists (DAAD) were discussed. The possibility of inviting a DAAD lecturer to ZNTU to conduct German language classes for students was considered.

For ZNTU students and teachers, Ms. Gisela Zimmermann made a presentation of the numerous DAAD scholarship programs «Study and Research in Germany» and answered questions from those present.
