Meeting of students with representatives of regional unions of architects of Ukraine

Problems of city improvement are an inexhaustible source of discussions and opportunities. They cannot be ignored, therefore the issue of forming the architectural image of the city of Zaporizhzhia was raised during a meeting between students of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University and the Head of the Architectural Chamber of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Organization of the Union of Architects of Ukraine Yevhen Holoshchapov.

The meeting took place on February 7, and took place in the form of a conversation with students of the «Architecture and Urban Planning» specialty, because it is extremely important that future specialists have the opportunity to communicate with current professionals in their field.

The Chairman of the Lviv Regional Organization of the Union of Architects of Ukraine, Bohdan Volodymyrovych Goya, was invited to the discussion, who shared his own experience, talked about prospects, and drew attention to urgent problems in the field of architecture. One of the key moments of the meeting was the question of the role of public organizations in solving the problems of city improvement, which was considered on the example of individual territorial communities,

The head of the educational department of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Hreshta Viktor Leonidovich noted the importance of such meetings between students and practicing professionals and suggested expanding the areas of future cooperation on the issues of improving educational programs, discussing the list and filling of academic disciplines, practical training of students of higher education and involving potential employers directly in the educational process.
