Meeting with first-year residents of ZNTU dormitories

On September 9, 2015, a general meeting of residents of all dormitories who moved in this year was held. The event was full of useful information, which was conveyed to the students by true experts in their field. The audience was addressed by the head of the ZNTU student trade union committee Andriy Ivanchenko, deputy director of the ZNTU campus Vadym Keda, employee of the ZNTU Central Student Service Center Dmytro Shendryk, acting director of the Center for Employment Assistance for ZNTU students and graduates Svitlana Olefir, head of the educational department of ZNTU Alina Kizilova, head of the student council of dormitory No. 2 Dmytro Kapustyan, head of the student council of dormitory No. 3 Kateryna Kukovytska, director of the Center for Student Self-Government of dormitory No. 3 Ihor Tokmakov, director of the Center for Student Self-Government of dormitory No. 4 Nazariy Ivanytskyi, deputy head of the fan club of ZNTU sports teams Serhiy Krysanov. First of all, the head of the trade union committee of students, postgraduates and doctoral students of ZNTU, Andriy Ivanchenko, met with the first-year students. Alina Kizilova told the audience about travel and health and recommended that they contact room 196 (building 4, first floor) with travel questions.

Next, Dmytro Shendryk spoke to the «Mashynkivtsy» with information about the ZNTU Culture and Leisure Center. He spoke about the variety of opportunities to show and develop one’s talents at our university. After all, the ZNTU Center for Culture and Leisure operates: the «Viva» vocal studio, a theater studio, a spoken genre studio, a KVK studio, and a radio station. The ZNTU Students’ Culture and Leisure Center is located in classrooms 401 and 402 (main building of ZNTU, 4th floor), and its employees will be happy to help you fulfill your desire to realize yourself in art.

In addition, the special youth unit «Shield» was also mentioned, which monitors order and discipline at the university; anyone who wishes can also join its work. You need to contact the auditorium 403 (main building of ZNTU, 4th floor).

Important information about employment was delivered to the students by Svitlana Olefir – a specialist at the Center for Employment Assistance for Students and Graduates of ZNTU. She spoke about the construction teams of ZNTU, where «Mashinkivtsi» can work with benefit for their own everyday experience and wallet. The «School of Counselor Skills» was also mentioned, where our youth receive free skills for work in children’s recreation camps, and then successfully find a job for the summer. The Deputy Director of the ZNTU Campus Vadym Keda also spoke, talking about the rules of conduct in the dormitory, the need for resettlement and subsidies for each dormitory resident. The director of the Student Self-Government Center of Dormitory No. 3, Ihor Tokmakov, gave a vivid presentation about the sections in the student self-government center of dormitory No. 3.
