ZNTU goes to study
On the eve of the start of the new semester, I would like to sum up the results of the winter vacation. The traditional long «Mashinkiv» vacation was marked by several events.
First of all, while the younger courses were resting, our masters received well-deserved diplomas! On January 25, the ZNTU assembly hall was filled with dressed-up graduates, their relatives and friends. This year, Mashinka opened the door to adulthood for 136 young professionals, including red diplomas and honorary graduates. We congratulate «Mashinkivtsi» and wish you only success and worthy self-realization to your own satisfaction!
On the morning of January 25, students of ZNTU and other universities of the Zaporizhzhia region met with the governor of our region, Kostiantyn Bryl. During the meeting, students had the opportunity to ask the head of the region the most relevant questions and get answers to them. Representatives of the trade union committee of students of ZNTU took an active part in the discussion, being interested in the questions of awarding scholarships, benefits and migration of young people to other regions and countries. We hope to be heard.
On the eve of Students’ Day, on January 25, the Zaporizhzhia City Council delighted young people with activities in the anti-aircraft cafe. Our students also visited there and, in addition to having fun, they were treated to a huge 17-kilogram cake.
In February, the youth of ZNTU and Zaporizhzhia University celebrated Valentine’s Day together. On February 14, we went to Shevchenko Boulevard and together turned it into Love Boulevard. Performances by the talented youth of Zaporizhzhia, contests, photo drying, «marriages for one day» and a holiday fair were able to warm up everyone present at the holiday even on such a cold day! On February 15, the Department of Sports, Family and Youth of the Zaporizhzhia City Council organized a trip to the cinema named after Zaporizhzhia for the students of Zaporizhzhia. O. Dovzhenka. Cultural program, photo zones and romantic «La-la-land» did not leave anyone indifferent.
Among the events of the winter, it should be noted that on February 18, the PPO «Professional committee of students, postgraduates and doctoral students of ZNTU» celebrated its 12th anniversary!
During the holidays, our students also had time to get healthy traditionally in Lviv, Dragobrat, and Slavskyi.
The achievement of the beginning of the year is also the fact that our trade union committee of students of ZNTU elected and defended the right to fair distribution of scholarships among the «Mashinkivtsi»: in addition to celebrations, active ongoing work was carried out, and we achieved our goal.
It is safe to say that the ZNTU winter vacation was a success – holidays, excursions, new experiences. We wish «Mashinkivts» strength and inspiration in the new semester! Let the studies be successful, and the half-year full of good events!
