Specialists in the history of Ukraine are being trained at ZNTU
On March 27-28, the II round of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad on the History of Ukraine took place, which this year was held at Kryvyi Rih National University. From the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, the winners of the 1st round of the Olympiad took part in the competition – students of groups GF-213 Konovalchuk Anton, RT-513 Avremenko Serhiy and T-314 Marchenko Olha under the leadership of the assistant professor. of Ukrainian studies by Olha Anatoliivna Chumachenko. A total of 108 students participated in the decisive stage – representatives of leading universities in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kryvyi Rih, Nizhyn, Chernihiv, Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, Odesa, Luhansk, Donetsk, Hlukhiv, Sumy, Uman and Lviv. Students competed for the title of the best connoisseurs of the history of their native state in two sections – future historians and specialists in other specialties – non-historians.
According to the results of the Olympiad, our students led the three winners:
- 1st place – Konovalchuk Anton (82 points out of 100);
- 2nd place – Serhiy Avramenko (74 points).
Olha Marchenko also performed well, taking 15th place.
