Physical education competition in Sumy
In April 2015, a physical education competition for students of higher educational institutions was held in the city of Sumy. 31 universities and 72 students took part in the competition. Of course, students from the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Management of our university also visited Sumy and talked about their impressions and plans for the future.
«This is a wonderful experience of communication and an opportunity to try your hand. We had the practice of holding a ten-minute part of the lesson on physical education. Of course, I would like to thank the trade union committee of ZNTU students for the opportunity to attend such an event and, in the end, to try my hand at it,» Dmytro, a participant of the competition, shared with me.
«The impressions are good. It was the first time they had attended such a level event. It should be said that this was the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian Physical Education Olympiad and it was a great experience for us. We not only had the opportunity to communicate with our peers, but also received a large amount of useful information from scientists in the field of physical education. This time we did not take the prize places, but this is a motivation for us to definitely come back with a victory next time,» said ZNTU student Vladyslav.
I note that the participation of our students in the event took place thanks to the trade union committee of students of ZNTU, which allocated funds to finance accommodation, meals in Sumy, and travel.
