Competition «Conscript»

On September 22, 2017, the final stage of the regional military-sports competition «Conscript-2017» was held at the base of the 55th separate artillery brigade. 17 teams from our region took part in it, including our representatives. The dignity of our university was defended by the team «SHIELD ZNTU». The event was attended by guests from the administration: Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Gugnin Eduard Anatolyevich and Manager of the Regional Council Volodymyr Volodymyrovich Podorozhko.

The competitions were held in the following areas: a battle song competition, incomplete disassembly and assembly of weapons, donning protective equipment, a first aid competition in «combat» conditions, specialized cross-country, pull-ups in a bulletproof vest, shooting competitions and a military-applied relay race. Our courageous, strong and brave defenders showed themselves very well, and although they did not win, they were very close to it.

After the completion of all the relay races, our heroes were treated to a real soldier’s dinner. And this, of course, is not all. Also, our fighters will be solemnly awarded certificates by the rector of ZNTU Belikov Serhii Borisovich.

Also, the head of the SHIELD organization Devochkin Vasyl Fedorovych invites everyone who wishes to join the ranks of our university’s defenders. You will not be promised a bunch of victories, medals, certificates, but you will definitely be provided with endless physical training (at first you will regret joining, and then it will become your addiction), an unrealistically friendly team, a chance to become more independent and mature.
