Zaporizhzhia technical universities jointly celebrated the Day of the Education Worker
On October 1, the historical and cultural complex «700-year-old Zaporizhzhia Oak» held solemn events dedicated to the Day of the Education Worker, the 75th anniversary of the formation of the Zaporizhzhia region and the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Zaporizhzhia from the fascist invaders. Scientists, teachers, and students of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, the Zaporizhzhia State Engineering Academy and their colleges took part in the organization of this event. The guests of honor were the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Kartashov Ye.G., the First Deputy Chairman of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council Abdurakhmanova S. P., the Deputy Chairman of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Zaporozhchenko A.G., the Deputy Mayor of Zaporizhzhia Kaptyukh Yu.V., the Heads of District Administrations of the Zaporizhzhia City Council in Zhovtnevy, Leninsky and Ordzhonikidzevskyi districts of Zaporizhzhia, as well as the organizers of the events, the Chairman of the Council of Rectors, the Rector of ZNTU Professor Belikov S.B., the Acting Rector of ZSIA Professor Shvets E.Ya. and the Chairman of the Student Government Ivanchenko A.V. Each of them addressed those present with sincere heartfelt congratulations on the holidays close to everyone. The guests wished the education workers creative achievements, smart students, new achievements in educating the younger generation, and the youth strength, inspiration and success in their studies. A ceremony was held to award certificates of various levels to teachers, university employees, and student activists.
Then the organizers presented the guests with an unforgettable holiday of emotions, sensations and pleasant gifts. Students of the «Zahiznyk» lyceum performed for all those present. The demonstration performance with carbines could not fail to impress the audience, it was unsurpassed. The guys demonstrated unusual synchronicity and amazing skills, for which they were thanked with a stormy ovation. The talented Zaporizhzhia singer and composer, Honored Artist of Ukraine Anatolii Serdyuk, pleasantly pleased those present with his hits. Our souls were filled with boundless pride for our native land, for our undying history, for our courageous people, when songs were sung praising the Zaporizhzhia region: «Zaporizhzhia Oak», «Zaporizhzhia My Beloved». Absolute silence reigned around, it seemed that everyone even held their breath under the influence of magical sounds. But as soon as the melody died down, the audience exploded with wild ovations and words of gratitude.
The vocal studios of ZNTU and ZDIA also pleased us with several compositions. The performances were, as always, unsurpassed and worthy of loud applause.
Representatives of the Zaporizhzhia city organization of the Party of Regions, who did a lot to organize the holiday, also congratulated everyone on the Day of the Education Worker. And the Cossack Battle Theater «Zaporizhzhia Spas» presented their impressive performance. The actors made the hearts of the audience freeze with excitement and spectacle, demonstrated the courage, wisdom and traditions of the Cossacks.
The national team of the KVK «Zaporizhzhia Vector – Machine-ZNTU» concluded the festivities. I would like to say that smiles did not leave our lips, everyone was happy, everyone was in a great mood.
We sincerely thank all the participants and organizers of this wonderful event, because they gave us another bright day in university life.
