Behind the «Shield», as if behind a stone wall!
On May 26, the Historical and Cultural Complex «Zaporizhzhia Dub» became a place of real pilgrimage. All the Cossack might, strength and zeal flowed to the holy place of our land. Such actions marked the solemn celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Zaporizhzhia Children’s and Youth Sports School «Spas». It should be noted that this is the first state school in the world for Slavic martial arts, and therefore, all the noble warriors of our native land were present at the celebration.
Our university can also boast of exceptional combat training, because within the walls of «Mashynka» The special unit «Shield» is on guard of order, an organized delegation of which, headed by Volodymyr Pilishenko, also arrived at the event. Our students not only conscientiously monitored the discipline of the spectators, but also became honorary participants in the festive parade. First, the «Shield» in a column under a large banner showed off to the audience, demonstrating numerous medals that were rightfully deserved at the «Spas» hand-to-hand combat championships of the Zaporizhzhia region and Ukraine. And then they stunned those present with a demonstration performance. The unit’s fighters absolutely clearly and technically showed the elements of hand-to-hand combat, techniques using knives and firearms, complex tricks, including numerous throws and even extreme breaking of wooden and stone structures. The audience was delighted, and the organizers noted that the members of the special unit «Shield» – this is an absolute example to follow: their actions show skill and professionalism, which means that young «rescuers» must definitely emulate their older comrades. In addition, there were many thanks to our unit for the complete order at the event. Also, of course, we thanked our rector Serhii Belikov, who promotes the activities of the unit and supports it.
We are sincerely proud of our unique special unit, because they help to feel real security, conflict situations in the presence of noble fighters become simply impossible. «Shield» proudly stands in defense of order, accurately and faithfully performs its work, which means that the violators have no chance, for which our defenders bow low and are infinitely grateful!
