With a new hall from a clean sheet
Probably, many people were waiting for this event. The students of our «Mashinka» have been diligently preparing various performances and numbers since the first day of school. Everything would be fine, just a place to perform. This article is dedicated to this topic.
On October 20, at 4:00 p.m., a large number of people (students, guests, and, of course, a large team of the university’s press service) gathered on the third floor of the main building, who eagerly wanted to look behind the door, decorated with many balloons in a patriotic style. And do you know what kind of door it is? These are the doors of the restored and completely different and new assembly hall.
In order to get to the middle, it was necessary to have an invitation ticket with you, which could be obtained long before that from the students’ trade union committee.
Having taken their seats, everyone fell silent in anticipation of the start. The lights went out and incredibly positive presenters appeared on the stage, who set the mood for the audience throughout the evening. The celebration began with a plenary session attended by people who are connected to ZNTU by its legendary past and great present.
Rector of the university Serhiy Borisovych Belikov spoke first. He kindly charged the listeners with words of congratulation, and then one by one he invited respected people to the stage to speak: professors, doctors of science, people’s deputies, and most importantly – all of them are graduates of «Mashinka» (V.P. Seminozhenko, O.V. Boguslaev, A.I. Pustovarov, Metropolitan Luka, E.G. Kartashov, V.P. Marchenko, O.S. Kravchun, V.O. Mostoviy, A.V. Ivanchenko and others). After the words of congratulations, wishes and thanks of the distinguished guests, the curtain behind which there was a solemn red ribbon was opened. According to tradition, the guests cut it and took a piece as a souvenir. After that, the second part of the festive evening began, where the audience was warmed up by the «Talents of Mashynki». We enjoyed singing, dancing, humor and simply warm and sincere words and emotions: People’s Theater of Modern Choreography «Phoenix» (director Snizhana Lobodyuk), teachers and graduates Mykola Komochkin, Harry Moroz, Anna Maltseva, Oksana Radchenko, Oleh Zima, Volodymyr Bragutsa, two generations of the national team of KVN «Zaporizhsky Vector – Mashinka – ZNTU», the national team from funk aerobics, Mykhailo Gerasymchuk, Illia Zinchenko, Mariia Kabak and Denys Lysenko, Yurii Yurchenko and Safita Safarli. All these people are the inexhaustible wealth of the native university, which never forgets the native walls in which they gained their wings.
At the end of the holiday, a trio of female graduates performed a song that made you want to cry and laugh at the same time. It turned out to be an incredibly warm and emotional evening.
I would like to thank you and share the feelings that overwhelmed me today. It is a pity that this cannot be fully expressed in writing. In a word, if you wanted to think, relax, laugh and at the same time grieve, then you definitely needed to visit this event. I am sure, he would not leave anyone indifferent.
