All-Ukrainian hackathon
In the last few years, non-stop IT competitions are gaining more and more popularity, and the Zaporizhzhia project «LikeIT» is not far behind. For the third year already, the team of «LikeIT» organizers has been working on the development of the project, creating new opportunities to realize the potential of the participants.
Dates: March 17-18
Venue: Zaporizhzhia, night club «Crowbar».
Competition categories:
1. Desktop App – creation of a functional application program for a PC on a given topic.
2. Desktop Game – this category involves writing software to implement the game process.
3. Mobile App – development of a cross-platform or platform-dependent application for smartphones and tablets.
4. Mobile Game – game application development for popular mobile platforms such as iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
5. Web – creation of a functional static or dynamic web resource and its graphic design.
6. IoT – the concept of this category represents a close integration of the real and virtual worlds, in which communication between people and devices takes place using the Internet.
Competition format: hackathon is a programming marathon for developers, during which specialists from different areas of software development work together to solve a given task.
Target audience: students and graduate students, young programmers and specialists, development teams with fresh ideas and perspectives.
The purpose of the project:
— to help talented specialists realize themselves;
— to create interesting and useful software products under conditions of healthy competition;
— to organize a space for close cooperation of young developers and companies in the field of IT development.
Thanks to this project, participants will get practical experience, an incentive for further development and self-improvement, will be able to apply their knowledge in various IT areas, and partners will find non-standard ideas for organizing the work process in their companies.
