All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the specialty «Electrical Systems of Power Consumption» 2017-2018

April 24-27, 2018 on the basis of the Department of «Power Supply of Industrial Enterprises» of Zaporizhzhia National Technical University in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of National Education and Science No. 1572 dated 06.12.2017  The guests of the university, organizers and student participants of the Olympiad were greeted by the rector, professor Belikov S.B., dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering Antonov M.L., acting head of the department «Power supply of industrial enterprises» Shram O.A. and professor of the department «Power supply of industrial enterprises» Metelsky V.P. and wished success in solving the tasks of the Olympiad, and also that the strongest will win!

The Olympiad was attended by 70 participants, representing 24 higher educational institutions of III-IV levels of accreditation from all regions of Ukraine.

On April 27, the solemn closing of the Olympiad and the awarding of the winners took place. According to the results of the work of the jury members of the Olympiad, the prizes were distributed as follows:

1st place – Sobko Yevheniy Mykhailovych, student of Zaporizhzhia National Technical University;

2nd place – Tkalenko Nataliya Oleksandrivna, student of Dnipro State Technical University;

2nd place – Bondarenko Liubov Igorevna, student of Odessa National Polytechnic University;

3rd place – Mamontov Roman Vitaliyovich, student of Tavria State Agrotechnological University;

3rd place – Vashcheliuk Yurii Igorovych, student of Lutsk National Technical University;

3rd place – Samoilenko Dmytro Viktorovych, student of the National University of Food Technologies;

3rd place – Ternovsky Vladislav Rizvanovich, student of Sumy State University.

As part of the event, the participants of the Olympiad, guests of our city had the opportunity to visit the Dniprovsk Hydroelectric Power Plant, the historical and cultural complex «Zaporizhzhia Sich», as well as the Boguslaev Museum of Technology.

Therefore, the Olympiad contributed not only to the further creative and professional growth of its participants, but also became a time to get acquainted with the famous Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, the city of Zaporizhzhia.
