Presentation of certificates for the mayor’s scholarship

On October 3, 2017, the Mayor of Zaporizhzhia, Volodymyr Buryak, visited Mashinka. The main purpose of his visit was to present certificates for the mayor’s scholarship. This year, 115 best students of ZNTU of various faculties, who worked tirelessly throughout the year, received the certificate.

Before the award ceremony, Volodymyr Buryak was asked a number of questions regarding the improvement of road and transport connections in the Shevchenkiv district, the repair of the student polyclinic, as well as the development of public recreation centers in our city. It was also announced the desire to hold a competition for the «Best Hostel» and a STEM festival, with the hope of support under the patronage of the city mayor.

For each of the fellows, it is first of all support for the youth movement in the development of scientific, creative and public life. It is nice that the local authorities are concerned about the development of modern youth and support them in any activity! We hope that the efforts are still enough to conquer scientific and not only peaks.

– Study not for parents and teachers, but first of all for yourself. — Volodymyr Viktorovych instructed the students with these words before handing over the certificates!
