Implementation of modern interactive technical tools in the educational process of ZNTU
On October 17, 2016, at the department of software according to the plan of the project TEMPUS 544091-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-BE-TEMPUS-JPCR [DESIRE] «Development of courses on embedded systems using innovative approaches for the integration of education, science and production in Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia» was held training «Modern interactive technical means in engineering education».
Teachers were presented with an interactive complex that was purchased with the funds of the DESIRE project and installed in the new Laboratory of Embedded Systems and Remote Engineering (Building III, a.53a).
Esprit Multi Touch (Poland) is the first interactive whiteboard at ZNTU, which provides many opportunities for conducting interesting, dynamic, visual lectures, presentations, seminars, trainings.
The board is created on the basis of infrared technology, characterized by modern design and functionality. It has an interactive surface that allows you to control the content of the connected computer, both with the help of a stylus and simply with your fingers. Moreover, several people can work on the board at the same time (for example, a teacher and a student, or two speakers), since the technology for recognizing 4 or more simultaneous touches is supported. Users can write or draw, rotate, scale, move objects in the same way as it is done on the screens of smartphones or tablets. With the help of drivers and special software, all actions with the board – recordings, snapshots, videos, etc. can be saved on the computer, edited and printed. Thanks to the durable ceramic surface, the board can also be used as a traditional ? for drawing with markers.
Teachers of the department of software already today start using the interactive complex for learning and communication, exchange of ideas and opinions, as well as visual demonstration of educational materials in classes with students.
