Visit of representatives of the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) to ZNTU
In 2015, the first inter-institutional agreement was agreed between the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven) and ZNTU within the framework of the EU Erasmus + program under the direction of KA1 (academic mobility). During the 3 years of implementation of the student exchange program at KU Leuven, 5 post-graduate students and 12 masters of ZNTU have studied during the semester at the De Nair campus. The coordinator of the project from ZNTU is Professor of the Department of Software Tools G.V. Herdsman.
As part of this program, representatives of the Catholic University of Leuven will visit the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University from June 4 to 10: Petro Arras – honorary professor of ZNTU, lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering Technologies, employee of the international department; Danny Jansen is a teacher at the Faculty of Engineering Technologies.
During their stay at ZNTU, teachers from Belgium will meet with the management to discuss issues of further cooperation, give lectures for ZNTU students on virtual prototyping, 3D printing, construction methods for residential construction and information modeling of buildings. Also, Petro Arras will conduct an interview with ZNTU students, candidates for study at KU Leuven in the 2018-2019 academic year.
