Visit of the German delegation to ZNTU

At the end of April, a delegation from the state of Saxony-Anhalt of the Federal Republic of Germany, headed by the State Minister and Head of the State Chancellery of Saxony-Anhalt, Rainer Robra, visited ZNTU.

Members of the delegation met with the university leadership. The meeting was also attended by directors of institutes, deans, teachers and students.

The Rector of ZNTU, Prof. S.B. Belikov and the Head of the delegation, Rainer Robra, delivered welcoming remarks. In his speech, Rainer Robra noted that an important task of cooperation is measures to increase the efficient use of energy in the Zaporizhzhia region and the city of Zaporizhzhia, in particular in the field of renovation of residential buildings. To implement these measures, it is necessary to improve the skills of engineers in the field of energy rehabilitation according to European standards, combined with practice in technical, industrial, economic and legal spheres.

During the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Association «German-Ukrainian Chamber of Engineers of Zaporizhzhia Region», the Chamber of Engineers of Saxony-Anhalt and the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University.

The purpose of the agreement is to strengthen the economic strength of the state of Saxony-Anhalt and Zaporizhzhia Region through engineering activities and promote development in the fields of economy, science and education.

A protocol of intentions was also signed on cooperation in improving the skills of engineers under the program «Professional Energy Engineer».

The guests got acquainted with the university and visited the museum ZNTU.
