Visit to Belarus

The Rector of ZNTU S.B. Belikov visited the Republic of Belarus and personally congratulated the Rector of the Belarusian State Technological University Ivan Mikhailovich Zharsky on his 70th birthday.

I.M. Zharsky has been heading the educational institution since 1986. Under his leadership, the educational institution received university status, the number of students increased 3 times and reached 15,800 people. More than 74% of the teaching staff have academic titles and degrees.

For more than ten years, ZNTU and BDTU have had fruitful scientific ties. In particular, specialists from the Department of Metal Technology under the leadership of Prof. I.P. Volchka participated in a number of joint intergovernmental scientific researches.

We highly appreciate the creative cooperation between our universities, which contributed to the preparation of doctoral and candidate theses by employees of BDTU and ZNTU.
