On behalf of the Team of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine and the National Team of Experts on Higher Education Reform, we express our sincere respect and congratulate the team of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University on its honorable anniversary – 120th anniversary!
The university’s active cooperation with the European Union began within the framework of the EU Tempus Program and continues to this day within the framework of the Erasmus+ Program.
The implementation of Tempus projects has enabled the university to modernize educational programs in engineering based on successful practices and with the participation of partners from EU member states; implement innovative virtual approaches to integrate science, education and industry; create centers of excellence for young scientists and an interregional network for innovative development of the technosphere of ecosystems based on micro- and nano-object technologies.
Within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ program projects, cooperation in the field of international academic mobility has been intensified and the university’s capacity to implement reforms in the field of higher education is being strengthened. International mobility projects of the EU Erasmus+ Program, which are implemented at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University during 2015-2020 together with higher education institutions in Belgium, Germany, Poland, Austria, Romania and Spain, contribute to improving the quality of students’ knowledge, as well as improving the qualifications and quality of teaching of university staff. Cooperation of Ukraine with the EU in the context of implementing an educational program for the needs of industry and society, as well as a program on artificial implants for bio-engineering, are also among the tasks of the projects implemented by the university team. Moreover, the university team won a powerful competition for cooperation projects as a grantee coordinator and will continue to build a culture of international project management in Ukraine.
We are convinced that the results of such powerful international cooperation will help develop internationalization and build the potential of your university.
