Congratulations to the participants of the bench press competition!
«In a healthy body – a healthy mind», – and our students, knowing this, are happy to play sports, promoting a healthy lifestyle with their activities. «Mashinkivtsi» organize competitions in various sports. These are handball, mini-football, checkers, tennis, as well as strength sports. Among the very first sports events of the campus this academic year, it is worth noting the bench press competition, which took place on October 8 in the dormitory No. 2 of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University.
We spoke with a direct participant in the event, the head of the dormitory No. 2 Harry Moroz, who served as an assistant judge at the competition: «The fight was intense, with each round the result changed, so it was impossible to predict who would be the winner. 19 people in 5 weight categories were represented at the competition. This event was held at the highest level, the participants are satisfied, such events will continue to be held. We plan to make the competition annual, just to make it more interesting, now we will also attract representatives of other dormitories of ZNTU. The organizers of the event – the student council and the student self-government center – thank the trade union committee of students, postgraduates and doctoral students, as well as the student campus for their help in organizing the event. Such events are important and simply necessary for the healthy direction of the energy of our youth.
