Congratulations to the newly graduated students!

The approach of autumn in each person evokes their own memories, associations, and attachments.

For each graduate, there comes a time when he must make a certain choice that will be decisive in his life. This is a turning point, a period of a certain growing up, which will certainly leave memories to some extent. And when a person is asked about the brightest moments, he always remembers student life.

On August 29, a solemn dedication was held for students of Zaporizhzhia National Technical University. On this day, hundreds of applicants became full members of our large student family.

The lively and loud music was traditionally dissolved by the rector of «Mashinka» Serhiy Borisovich Belikov, who in his speech summed up the entrance campaign, remembered the difficult times and wished success to the students. Then he proudly played the anthem of Ukraine, during which the silent crowd at that moment saw the raising of the flag of Ukraine. Then the future freshmen heard the anthem of Zaporizhzhia National Technical University for the first time, and to the inspired tune the banner of their native university solemnly rose above the crowd. This marked the official opening of the event. After that, Serhiy Borisovich made another speech, in which he talked about the path that each of those present had embarked on and what an important step it was.

The ceremony was also attended by distinguished guests: Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Valeriy Oleksiyovych Baranov, First Deputy Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council Abdurakhmanova Svitlana Petrovna, First Deputy Head of the Zaporizhzhia City Council Dmytro Oleksandrovych Svirkin, Head of the District Administration of the Zaporizhzhia City Council for the Zhovtnevy District Manokhin Oleksandr Oleksiyovych, People’s Deputy of Ukraine, Head of the Supervisory Board of ZNTU, Hero of Ukraine, President of JSC «Motor Sich» Boguslaev Vyacheslav Oleksandrovych, People’s Deputy of Ukraine, member of the Supervisory Board, Chairman of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration (1999-2003), Mayor of Zaporizhzhia (2003-2009) Kartashov Yevhen Grigorovich, Head of the Regional Organization of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers Hryn Nadiya Ivanivna, President of the Regional Union of Entrepreneurs and Industrialists (Employers) Vanat Petro Mykhailovych, Member of the Supervisory Board Maslovets Bohdan Pavlovych, Head of the Administration Affairs Department, Head of the Youth Organization of the Zaporizhzhia Steel Plant "Zaporizhstal" Ilchenko Serhiy Volodymyrovych, Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Deputy of the Regional Council Yarmoshchuk Mykola Anatolyovich.

They also said their warm words to the freshmen.

At the end of the event, freshmen were invited to the stage to take the student oath. Our rector Serhiy Borisovich Belikov and the head of the trade union committee of ZNTU students Andriy Volodymyrovych Ivanchenko presented the young people with a large «key to knowledge», as well as each student’s business card – a student ID. The solemn part of the dedication ended with the anthems of Ukraine and ZNTU, and the students were invited to the university.

The morning of August 30 for the Zaporizhzhia Electrotechnical College of ZNTU began extremely solemnly and lively. This date became a landmark in the lives of dozens of applicants and was marked by the initiation into students of ZETK. The young people were greeted by the director of the college, Yevhen Mykolayovych Ryabenko, honored guests, teachers and student activists. The freshmen pronounced the solemn oath of a student, and also accepted a symbolic record book and the key to knowledge.

And already on September 1, a crowd of graduates-applicants gathered near the Zaporizhzhia College of Radio Electronics of ZNTU and the Zaporizhzhia Humanitarian College of ZNTU, who certainly chose the right path. There were joyful smiles on their faces, the young people passed the "sacred" The rite of initiation into students, and each entered the stormy sea of ​​study with their supervisor – a reliable friend.

We congratulate the first-year students on entering the educational institutions of our Zaporizhzhia National Technical University and wish them a fun and successful journey!
