Celebrating student activity on Youth Day
How good it is that true patriots study and work at our university, who sincerely direct their activities to ensuring the well-being and prosperity of their native city! Zaporizhzhia City Council, of course, values active youth, and therefore always supports their initiatives and encourages their aspirations.
On July 2, a solemn meeting of the city youth council was held in the large hall of the city council on the occasion of the recent celebration of Youth Day.
The mission of the "celebratory" meeting was not only to summarize this year’s achievements, but also to award the city youth representatives with Honorary Certificates of the Executive Committee of the City Council for their active life position and public activities aimed at the development of the youth movement in Zaporizhzhia. Among those honored are our students, namely Gudkova Hanna, Kucheryavy Artem, Sova Valeria and Filonenko Oleksiy. Young people have worked hard this year and participated in the organization of serious projects in their native land, for which they received awards from the hands of Deputy Mayor Yurii Volodymyrovych Kaptyukh, Head of the Department for Work with Youth and Family Ihor Serhiyovych Filipenko and Head of the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the City Council Raisa Vasylivna Chukhrai. The activists thanked the presidium, and when the question arose about the proposals for the direction of activity for the next year, they unobtrusively suggested increasing the number of mayor scholarships at ZNTU from 111 to 113, so that their number corresponds to the age of our university. Ihor Serhiyovych personally promised to think about this in the near future.
By the way, we also join in all the congratulations to the active youth of «Mashynkiv» and wish them new ideas, inspiration, and further achievements. May your social activities bring you as much pleasure as possible and return a hundredfold in the form of a flourishing hometown that you want to be proud of!
